Nested in the heart of the old medina of Marrakech and few minutes away from D'Jema El Fnaa main square, Dar Saria, the 16 pillars house, welcomes you to make you discover the hidden charms of the unique red city of Morocco. Our home is an ancient Caïd’s house which explains the particular care given to the ornamentation of the pillars’ capital surrounding the patio. Built according to oriental houses traditional plan, all rooms open up onto a central garden. This little intimate palace singularize itself by thick walls carved with inscription to Allah’s glory and marble ground to reflect light and to refresh during summer. Two suites and a double bedroom are soberly decorated, with hunted trinkets, local art craft and beautiful ethnic pieces also revealing our taste for Black Africa. The patio is planted with a four season lemon tree and a bougainvillea throwing its red flowers to the well of light. The terrace painted with tones of the desert offers towards South a panoramic view on the Atlas snow and closer towards East, the elegant minaret of Ben Youssef Mosque.
